Adler Motorcycles - Enamel Advertising Sign

Adler was a German motorcycle manufacturer, The 'Adler' name is German for 'eagle'. 

Adlerwerke vormals Heinrich Kleyer (‘Adler Works formerly [known as] Heinrich Kleyer’) was a German aircraft manufacturer established by Heinrich Kleyer in Frankfurt am Main in 1934 (89 years ago) by buying out Gerner. 

Adler made no original designs, only continuing production of Gerner designs that were included in the acquisition.

The factory in Frankfurt-Gallus still exists and was restored in the late 1990s for use as an office building. It also houses the Gallus Theater and a restaurant.

Measurements: Height 40 cms x Width 30 cms. 

It is in good condition with an aged patina and a few enamel chips. 

Ideal for all Motorcycles enthusiasts. 

It's been in a private collection for many years. 

The Sign will be very carefully packaged for transit.
