I used this camcorder a lot in the early 2000s and never had issues but due to the long resting time in my shelf the video head seems to be dusty/dirty. I cleaned as good as I could (never touched the head) and recorded some seconds but still have some tape-reading-issues ("partial pixeling", see last photos).
The batteries are very old and do not last very long, the remotes are functional and the floppy adapter worked (used 20 years ago).
