Beautiful typewriter, estimated to be made around the year 1914. Alder was a German typewriter maker based in Frankfurt and made lots of these, however this one was made specifically for the Dutch market and was sold by L. Fles & Co in Amsterdam. This company also used to rent these typewriters to companies and individuals, which is why the Dutch city names are printed on this model. The typewriter is in good condition mechanically, but the outside does need some restoration work.
