Si tratta della PRIMA opera Dada di Man Ray, eseguita nel 1921 a Parigi ed esposta alla Galleria Six, dove nel primo giorno di esposizione (3 dicembre) fu rubata. Ne 1972 la riprodusse in soli 11 esemplari, preziosissimi ed introvabili. Nel 1974 una seconda serie di multipli, questa volta 5000.
L'esemplare che propongo appartiene a questa serie ed è il 3395. Sempre più difficile reperirne uno.
Il pezzo che presento è in ottime condizioni, estratto oggi per la prima volta dal suo doppio contenitore.
Il pacco contiene il foglio illustrativo dell'Edizione Anselmino (Torino) e la tessera di identità dell'opera.
Ferro da stiro chiodato è un paradosso esemplare del linguaggio DADA.
