With preliminary leaves of various colors and differing widths. 26x18.5 cm (10x7"), hand-bound in stiff pictorial wrappers with cork-lined front cover, attached jacket with tissue sheet tipped-on (as issued), and pictorial flap over fore-edge around from rear; this copy housed in custom black cloth drop-back box with cover and spine labels. One of 777 copies on different colored and sized hand-printed paper. First Edition.

Dated and signed by Charles Bukowski in silver ink on the front free endpaper: "8-3-63." Bukowski‘s most beautifully produced book and the crowning achievement of Loujon Press, with a rare reddish cork cover. Dorbin A5; Krumhansl 12.
