Description from the seller

Model Summary:
The Porsche 356 B represented a significant advance in the evolution of the iconic Stuttgart model, introducing substantial improvements in handling and comfort. This unit belongs to the T6 series, distinguished by its squared-off front hood and the twin ventilation grilles on the engine lid—features that marked the technical and visual maturity of this model before the arrival of the 911.

Bodywork and Painting
The vehicle features a body and paint in impeccable condition, the result of a very meticulous restoration process. It is worth mentioning that there is only a small scratch on the driver's door, which can be viewed in detail in the photographs, but it does not detract from the overall aesthetics of the set. The car is completely rust-free and has been fitted with new rubber seals on all doors, the windshield, and the windows. Furthermore, all the glass is original and remains without a single scratch. Thanks to this level of care, the vehicle does not require any additional intervention to be entered into the competition.

TECHNICAL STATUS:
In the mechanical section, the car has been comprehensively overhauled, with new brakes and dampers, as well as new belts, filters and hoses. The engine was fully rebuilt from scratch and currently features two new Weber carburetors that optimize its performance. The entire mechanical assembly was rebuilt as new during the long restoration process. To ensure traceability of these works, the car is delivered with an extensive dossier documenting the entire process, including detailed invoices from Porsche Classic.

INNER STATE:
The cabin has been renovated faithfully to respect the original design, featuring a brand-new white headliner and new black leather upholstery. All interior lighting is in perfect condition, having been updated with LED bulbs that preserve the color tone appropriate to the era. As a detail of authenticity, the dashboard still retains its original radio.

Documentation and extras:
The car is registered in Spain as a Historic Vehicle and has its original maintenance manual in Spanish. As a final accessory for its preservation, the vehicle includes a high-quality, custom-made glove-style cover that bears the brand emblem along with the car's model and year.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
