Georg Jensen sterling silver 250 Birds on Wheat brooch pin by Arno Malinowski
A beautiful vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver brooch featuring two birds designed
by Arno Malinowski.The rear of the  brooch is marked with  "GJ
925 STERLING DENMARK 250" .  It has a  rollover clasp and pin closure on the rear.
It measures approximately 4 x 4 cm and is in very good condition.
Weight is 19 grams. It is estimated to date from the 1940's.
George Jensen was a renowned silversmith and the Georg Jensen brand has come
to represent excellent quality craftsmanship and design.  Arno Malinowski was a successful
designer who worked with the Georg Jensen Company from 1936 to 1944 and again
from 1949 to 1965. He often featured detailed designs of animals
in his work. This brooch is a lovely example of his work.
