Aat Veldhoen (1934-2018) - Vrijend paar

Aat Veldhoen (1934-2018) was, during his lifetime, a controversial artist, and his work still occasionally makes headlines. This is especially true of his erotic work, of which this lithograph is an example. In 1964 Veldhoen had to appear in court for making and distributing pornographic art. He created a series called 'Loving Couple,' and this is one of them. The lithograph is signed in pencil and numbered 92/150. In the upper right corner also dated '70, 1970 indeed.

I had the lithograph professionally framed by a framer. It is fitted with a mat, a beautiful gray frame, and museum glass. As you can see in one of the photos, the work can be hung directly. On the back there is a sticker from the framer and information about the glass used. The whole thing is in excellent condition.
