La ville de New York était sous l'effervescence de la mode et de la Fashion Week qui venait marquer la fin de la collection printemps/été. 

 Un événement mode orchestré par Rihanna, au cœur du colossal hall des anciens chantiers navals de Brooklyn, qui offrait une véritable performance imaginée par la chorégraphe Parris Goebel au milieu d’un set verdoyant. Depuis le lancement de cette ligne, Rihanna s’évertue à imaginer des pièces adaptées à toutes les morphologies et signait dans cette même lignée un casting de tops éclectiques, comprenant entre autres Gigi Hadid, Molly Constable, ou encore Slick Woods, qui foulait le catwalk enceinte.
 les 50 ans de la maison Ralph Lauren à Central Park. C’est au pied des marches des escaliers de la fontaine Bethesda Terrace à Central Park que Ralph Lauren célébrait le 50ème anniversaire de sa maison éponyme et signait un défilé événement. 
Autant dire que c'est la Fashion Week qui à le plus marqué les New yorkais depuis longtemps.
