De poster komt uit de overstock van de VARA, vanuit depot werd dit aan een particulier museum verkocht. Door verhuizing kwamen deze posters vrij.

Affiches zijn van oudsher bedoeld om met lijm geplakt te worden. Deze poster echter niet. Het papier van deze poster heeft een dubbele coating, zeer exclusief en hoogst ongebruikelijk voor zijn tijd. Al in de jaren 30 van de 20e eeuw werd deze luxe vorm van papier soms gebruikt (papier ook wat dikker dan normaal) en verwerkt voor de promotie van luxe producten als auto's, catalogi bijvoorbeeld.  Ik heb de poster laten onderzoeken door een IVPDA aangesloten veilinghuis en deze beoordeelde de poster als de enige Nederlandse uitgave van deze poster en dus authentiek.
