This is a zone focus (3 zones) 35mm point-and-shoot camera. The XA2 was released by Olympus in 1980. It is a simpler model compared to the original XA model. It's a fully programmed auto-exposure (instead of aperture-priority) and zone focus (instead of a rangefinder). It can still use the same detachable flashes as the original XA. The model is made of plastic and metal parts. Very resistant and robust body. It comes with a clam shell to avoid accidental shooting and to protect the lens: a very sharp D. Zuiko lens.
