Barolo is garnet red in color with orange highlights, while the nose is complex, persistent and intense. Fruity and floral notes (violet and vanilla) are accompanied by more spicy and tar notes. In the mouth it is powerful, balanced and elegant, a wine with great personality.
The classical dry red wine comes from the Barolo DOC in Northern Italy, the most important wine region of Piedmont. The Barolo is defined as "the king of wines and the wine of kings'' because of its regal characteristics, this splendid Piedmontese red is one of the standard-bearers of Italian enology.
