This original vintage poster was printed at Atelier Mourlot in 1961 for a Maillol exhibition. Aristide Maillol, renowned for his mastery of fusain (charcoal), found that his works were best reproduced through lithography on Mourlot's flatbed presses. In this piece, two nude figures stand arm in arm, with Maillol beautifully capturing the elegance and flow of the female form through his exquisite use of line. The poster exemplifies Maillol’s skill in conveying the natural grace and simplicity of the human body.
