Here is a truly magical Art Nouveau sterling silver handbag/purse set with a sterling silver Figaro strap.The piece measures 11 x 8 cms and weighs an incredible 150 grams.It was made by the wonderful Silversmith William Neale and was assayed in Chester in 1902.It carries a beautiful engraved Art Nouveau figurine on the front.Inside it has has several leather pockets..(some staining) these are divided by a piece of bakerlite..a very fine hairline crack present.It also carries a fully functioning silver ( unmarked but tested) propelling pencil.The piece is in overall nice condition..A few very small indents on the front as per photos.The bag will be very safely packed and sent via registered post.
