Un raffinato esempio di artigianato europeo della metà del XX secolo, questo tavolino di servizio combina con maestria solidità ed eleganza. La struttura in rovere massello garantisce robustezza e longevità, mentre il mogano impiallacciato dona calore e pregio estetico. Il piano è arricchito da una lastra in marmo verde pregiato, che aggiunge un tocco di lusso e raffinatezza, perfettamente incorniciata da una fascia finemente cesellata. A completare il design, dettagli in bronzo dorato conferiscono un'aria aristocratica al mobile, impreziosendo sia la base che la decorazione della colonna centrale.

Le dimensioni ideali, né troppo ingombranti né troppo ridotte, lo rendono un pezzo estremamente versatile: perfetto come tavolino da appoggio accanto a una poltrona, come supporto per una lampada o come complemento decorativo in una sala elegante.
Le condizioni sono buone, ha da segnalare un segno di sfregamento sul piano al di fuori del marmo (vedi foto), il difetto non compromette la bellezza del tavolo.

Questo tipo di tavolino richiama lo stile Napoleone III, reinterpretato in chiave moderna negli anni '40, un periodo in cui l'arredamento si ispirava ancora al classicismo ma con un occhio alla funzionalità e alla leggerezza formale.
