Early 20th century beautiful wind-up Dulceola gramophone made in UK, circa 1920-1930s. Features an elegant oak lidded case with two doors with metal handles in front that open to to reveal the speaker and control the volume.

This model comprises Swiss made Maestrophonio soundbox, the manual brake and the speed modulator and the captive winding handle. Clean inside. The motor is in good working order and fine-tuned to guarantee an impeccable sound.   

Dulceola was a brand name of Barnett Samuel & Sons, musical instrument dealers since the 1830's and originators of the Decca portable gramophone in 1914.

Despite its age the gramophone is in very good working order, makes a nice sound and keeps the music tempo. The gramophone comes with and a small selection of 78s and spare needles.

In excellent clean condition with small natural signs of use (please see the photos as they are the part of the description). The gramophone will be packed securely and posted as a fully tracked parcel.
