Marco Bernardini, conosciuto come "MarcoMaps", è un cartografo freelance specializzato nella creazione di mappe colorate e ricche di microscopici dettagli per giochi di ruolo, da tavolo e romanzi. La sua abilità nel combinare precisione cartografica e stile artistico unico lo ha portato a collaborare con importanti realtà internazionali come Wizards of the Coast, Critical Role, Keith Baker e Brotherwise Gaming.  

Tra i progetti più significativi spicca la collaborazione per il GdR basato sull’universo di Cosmere di Brandon Sanderson, che ha stabilito un record su Kickstarter raccogliendo 14 milioni di dollari in finanziamenti.  

Oltre al lavoro di cartografo, Marco è un appassionato Dungeon Master di Dungeons & Dragons da oltre 25 anni, esperienza che gli permette di creare mondi dettagliati e narrativamente coinvolgenti. Vive con la sua famiglia, composta dalla sua giocatrice preferita e dai suoi due amati gatti, Fanny e Bizm.

Questa è una delle illustrazioni originali realizzate nel novembre 2024 all’interno dell' Area Performance del festival internazionale Lucca Comics & Games.
