Orologio da uomo Kendall, modello K4 Chrono blu Mother Of Pearl realizzato con cassa in acciaio inossidabile AISI 316 plus spazzolato e lucidato, fondello in acciaio fissato con viti e vetro in zaffiro, spessore 2 mm. Il quadrante è madreperla blu. 
L'orologio è alimentato da un movimento automatico, ore, minuti, secondi, crono, data, contatore 24 ore GMT e cronografo dell'orologio contatore di 30 minuti a ore 12 e contatore di 12 ore a ore 6. Vetro zaffiro curvo di alta qualità sul viso e piatto (spessore 2 mm) sul retro. Materiale della corona: acciaio inossidabile. Completa questo modello un cinturino in pelle blu con fibbia ardiglione in acciaio inossidabile, forma sestante.

STORIA

Kendall: un marchio con una storia unica

Nel XVIII secolo, in un'epoca in cui le mappe del mondo avevano ancora ampie zone inesplorate, l'umano desiderio di avventura era più vivo che mai. Capitan Cook, esploratore animato da questo spirito, intraprese un viaggio nell'emisfero sud, sconosciuto e misterioso. Ma Cook non era solo, il suo fedele compagno era un orologio creato dall'orologiaio inglese Larcum Kendall, che si rivelò essenziale per la sua missione. Questo strumento, insieme al sestante, permise a Cook di mappare terre mai viste prima e di definire i meridiani in riferimento a Greenwich. 

Il cronometro marino K1, progettato da Larcum Kendall nel 1742 per risolvere il problema della determinazione della longitudine in mare, fu uno dei primi cronometri marini di precisione e contribuì notevolmente alla mappatura dell'intero emisfero australe.
