Hysteric Twelve is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase. Throughout his life, Masahisa Fukase has continued to look at himself as a human being and a photographer through familiar subjects such as his wife, father, family, cats, and crows. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, he started out in commercial work, worked for Daiichi Advertising and Kawade Shobo, and then went freelance. After that, as if to confirm the meaning of "I" and "taking photographs," he began to point his lens at himself, his family, and his surroundings, and went on to publish his representative works, "Yoko (wife at the time)," "Sasuke (cat)," "Crow (crow)," and "Memories of my father (father)." In 1992, he was seriously injured in an accident, and his activities as a photographer ceased. Although his actual activity period has been over 30 years, he continues to receive tremendous support from around the world. This book is the 12th issue of the photobook series published by the collection brand "Hysteric Glamour", and is a book of street snaps published in the early 1980s under the title "Walking Eyes". This is a collection of works that allows you to enjoy Fukase's outstanding sensibility and aesthetic sense, which is different from his works such as "Cat" and "Crow". Limited to 700 copies.
