Bang & Olufsen - BeoGram 6002 Turntable - Multiple models

The Bang & Olufsen BeoGram 6002 is a multi-award winning design by Jacob Jensen, which is included in the Design collection of the Museum of Modern Arts (MoMA), New York. The tangential tone arm ensures that the stylus tip always runs exactly straight through the grooves in the record, as when the record was cut. It addresses the "failure angle" and minimises groove wear on the records. Record size and speed are identified by a 'magic eye' (photodiode) carried on a detector arm, which moves ahead of the tangential tone arm. When connected to a BeoMaster 6000, the player has a one-way data-link which makes it controllable via the radios main controls or optional a remote Terminal. If not the radio is equipped with a built-in RIAA pre-amplifier, a separate one is included in the lot, which can be connected to the radio and the turntable. Seller has had the BeoGram 6002 from new and has used it with care. A few years ago the record player was serviced and tested - the carriage was cleaned and lubricated - new drive belt and belt for servo fitted - speed and servo adjusted - pick-up arm adjusted, etc. Since then it has not been used. Furthermore the turntable is fitted with a new original -unused - re-tipped B&O MMC 2 pickup with an unframed elliptical diamond, which only requires a needle pressure of 1.2 grams. Usually, the record player was sold with an MMC 3 pick-up as standard equipment. Visually it appears without scratches etc. apart from a few tiny signs of use on the platter and a small pressure on the edge of the control panel. In general see pictures. The Bang & Olufsen, BeoGram 6002 turntable has been tested and is in working condition. NOTE: The record player will be shipped with locked transport screws and packed securely and professionally. Will be shipped within the EU only, except Greece.
