This beautiful watch (which is also called a "marriage watch ") is an authentic Omega pocket watch converted into a wristwatch. 

Post-war Omega movement, with signature and serial number 10531988 (specialist following, calibre produced around 1945). Mechanical movement with manual winding. In perfect working order. 

Large, steel, hinged Omega casing, 44 mm in diameter (not including the crown). Stamped "Omega" + reference "Swiss-made" on the inside.

Both the calibre and the case are guaranteed to be genuine Omega.  The vintage hands, dial and glass (origin unknown) have been replaced by a specialist and are in perfect condition. White gold-plated lugs (very rare on this type of watch). Beautiful workmanship, carefully finished, no visible soldering marks. 

Brand new black leather strap. Beautiful 1945-period buckle which matches the lugs.

Needs careful handling, as with any object of its age. Do not expose to water.  Avoid jolts. 

Total length: 24 cm. 
 
Beautiful collector's item with a lovely patina and an exceptional appearance. 

This watch is ready to be worn by an aesthete, an amateur collector of unusual objects or an artist.
