1) Kavalan Bourbon Oak Matured Single Malt Kavalan 09.02.2017 46.0 % Vol. 700 ml - Sweet spices and vanilla on the nose. Fruits, ginger, round, easygoing but very enjoyable. Winegums. Quite sweet, but there are also some nice oaky tannin vibes going on here. - A playful taste with those sweet vanilla, spices and fruitiness playing along with the hint of the more dry oaky notes. Some leather and a hint bitter dark chocolate. - A nice balanced whisky with a long and a bit drying aftertaste. A hint of pepper and the oakiness grows stronger with time. 2) Kavalan Sherry Oak Matured Single Malt Kavalan 08.02.2018 Spanish Oloroso Sherry Cask 46.0 % Vol. 700 ml - Sweet spices and vanilla on the nose.
