1980 John Watson McLaren Twin Eye Port Bell helmet

John Marshall Watson is a British former racing driver who competed in Formula One, winning five Grands Prix and was third in the 1982 championship. He also competed in the World Sportscar Championship finishing second in the 1987 championship. After his retirement from motorsport, he became a commentator for Eurosport's coverage of Formula One from 1989 to 1996.

Here we offer a great Formula One Twin Eye Port Bell XP recreation helmet with fantastic classic design. An original Twin Eye Port Bell XP helmets are extremely rare and expensive, for this helmet we restored vintage Shoei helmet as the base to recreate this fantastic piece. As you can see this helmet is in very good condition, it really stands out with the fluorescent bright orange and silver graphics, the colours are so vibrant they can not be captured with a camera. This vintage helmet has a 1970 Snell approval, so it could have been used in professional motorsports such as F1. This great item will make a stunning piece and its ready to be displayed in any F1 or motor sport collection.
