The case is beautifully ornamented on both sides with detailed floral scrollwork, textured fields, and coin denomination indicators (e.g., “SOVEREIGN”, “HALF SOVEREIGN”, “3d”, “1s”, “6d”). It contains spring-loaded slots for stacking coins by value — a stylish and functional solution in an era before paper currency was common.
