Vintage wereldbol – Kümmerly & Frey, Berne – Swiss Made – 1953

Prachtige vintage wereldbol, vervaardigd door het gerenommeerde cartografische huis Kümmerly & Frey uit Bern, Zwitserland. Deze globe dateert uit 1953 en is een mooi voorbeeld van mid-20e-eeuws Zwitsers vakmanschap.

De globe toont de wereld zoals die eruitzag in het begin van de Koude Oorlog, met historische landsgrenzen en landennamen die sindsdien zijn veranderd – ideaal voor liefhebbers van cartografie of als decoratief item met historische waarde.

Gemonteerd op een elegante houten voet met een eenvoudige, functionele meridiaanring. De kleuren zijn helder gebleven en de typografie is scherp en goed leesbaar. Een stijlvol object dat zowel educatief als decoratief tot zijn recht komt.

Diameter globe: ca. 24 cm

Conditie: In goede vintage staat, met lichte gebruikssporen en een mooie patina passend bij de leeftijd.
