You are bidding on a very fine and rare old italian 4/4 violin, labeled and made by GIUSEPPE PELLACANI Modena, 1969. Certified and described as a good example of this maker's work by D. Gindin.


Label: "Giuseppe Pellacani da medolla (Modena) N. 265 fece anno 1969", back marked G. Pellancani. 


The instrument is in ready to play condition with no cracks, ebony fittings, master made bridge and Vision strings. The whole length of the violin is 583 mm and the back 352 mm. Full size. The width of the upper bouts: 167 mm; middle bouts: 107 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm. The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power.
