The Minolta Dynax 9xi (also known as the Maxxum 9xi in North America) is a professional autofocus single-lens reflex (SLR) camera introduced by Minolta in the early 1990s. It was designed as the top model in the xi series and offered advanced features for advanced and professional photographers.

Autofocus system: Fast and accurate AF technology
Exposure modes: Programmed, aperture and shutter speed preselection, manual mode
Shutter speed: 30 sec - 1/12000 sec (electronic shutter)
Continuous shooting: Up to 4.5 fps
Built-in flash: None, external flash shutter available
Lens system: Minolta A-mount (compatible with xi and later AF lenses)
A special feature of the Dynax 9xi was the "card system", which offered expansion possibilities by adding various photographic features. It features a solid, timeless body and ergonomic design that made it one of the most advanced SLRs of its time.
