Der NewTec Pro 200 bietet vor allem klanglich hervorragende Eigenschaften. Auch stärkste Kurzzeitspitzen verarbeitet er ohne zu verzerren und bietet dadurch eine atemberaubende Dynamik. Verschiedene Zubehöre ermöglichen eine flexible Positionierung und Montage: den Pro 200 Wand- und Deckenmontagen möglich, sowie die Verwendung als mobile Einheit, mittels Standards „Lautsprecherständer“ für PA-Lautsprecher. Bei Betrieb mit einer aktiven „High pass“ Frequenzweiche (120 Hz – 18 dB/Okt.) kann der Pro200 mit bis zu 240 Watt belastet werden und erreicht hohe Lautstärken, ohne die akustische Qualität zu beeinträchtigen oder für den Zuhörer aufdringlich zu werden. Ein einziger PRO200 ist für angenehme Hintergrundbeschallung, genauso wie für die internen Hausdurchsagen genutzt, welche ohne höchste Sprachverständlichkeit wirkungslos sind. Der PRO200 eignet sich aber auch für den mobilen Einsatz, wenn Hörer wahllos um den Referenten oder Künstler herumstehen. Der PRO200 hat einen Durchmesser von 235 mm bei einer Höhe von 416 mm.
