During minting of coins, high dynamic loads occur on the dies, which sometimes causes damage in the form of cracks or even chips. Friction occurring between the surfaces of the dies and the coin blank causes gradual wear of the dies. Contrary to appearances, mint destructs are highly sought after by collectors, because their uniqueness makes them interesting and often very valuable, due to their rarity and exceptionality.

Obverse of the coin: leakage of the central ring, stars on the outer edge of the coin are misshapen,
The outer ring is additionally damaged by 6 grooves visible on the Reverse and Obverse on each side in the form of gaps, the outer rim of the coin has been partially poured into the center of the outer ring.
The inner core of the coin has been separated from the outer ring.
The image of Bertha von Suttner is distorted, her head is not clearly visible, No mint symbols.

The shape of the coin is not round but distorted, additionally 3 visible recesses in the form of deep gaps, struck when the die was moved. The edge of the coin at the top is very distorted

The reverse of the coin: the middle ring is leaking, with 2 very deep cracks visible running vertically through the center of the coin. All grooves were punched out during the movement of the press punch and minting under enormous pressure. The number 2 is damaged

The edge of the coin is distorted. The set of 6 stars and 6 vertical lines below and above the EURO inscription is missing. The EURO inscription is poorly visible. The map of Europe is misshapen, several countries are missing.

An interesting and unique, very rare and unusual form of destruction of this coin.
