Interfaccia MIDI, interfaccia audio, processore di effetti, superficie di controllo hardware per software MIDI + sequencer audio.

L'U8 è costituito da tre ingredienti fondamentali: un'interfaccia audio, un'interfaccia MIDI e infine una superficie di controllo hardware che rende letteralmente l'utilizzo delle varie funzioni audio e MIDI un'esperienza più pratica. I dati audio e MIDI vengono trasferiti tra l'U8 e il PC tramite la connessione USB, quindi il PC non necessita né di una scheda audio dedicata aggiuntiva né di un'interfaccia MIDI.

L'apparecchi viene fornito privo con copia del cd originale comprendenti drivers e softwares necessari per il suo funzionamento.

Finestra di modifica degli effetti dell'U8 con un preset basato sull'algoritmo di mastering selezionato.

Sensibilità dei jack di ingresso A e B: variabile tra -50 e +4 dBm.

Frequenze di campionamento dell'ingresso ottico S/PDIF: 32, 44,1 e 48 kHz.
