Superbe et très rare photolitographie de Miles Davis prise par le célèbre photographe Don Hunstein lors des sessions d'enregistrement pour l'album "Kind of blue" en 1959.
Editée par Sony Music livres en février 2013 , épuisé aujourd'hui dans le commerce.

- Etat:  Superbe. ( voir les photos) coin haut gauche légèrement appuyé et invisible à l'encadrement.

Histoire de la photographie et du photographe Don Hunstein:

Lors des sessions "Kind of Blue" en 1959 , avec notamment John Coltran, Miles Davis a fourni à son sextet un cadre schématique pour les improvisations modales qui composeraient l'album. Davis a utilisé le piano comme outil de composition. Ce cliché rare de Miles donne un aperçu sincère de ses méthodes de travail ainsi qu'un aperçu de l'ambiance en studio.
Le compositeur et trompettiste américain Miles Davis a marqué l'histoire de la musique et du jazz du XXe siècle. Il devient musicien professionnel en 1942 et joue jusqu'à sa mort en 1991.

Les photographies emblématiques de Don Hunstein sont devenues les symboles d'une époque. Le travail de Don au cours de ses 30 années chez Columbia Records est inégalé. il a pu enregistrer de nombreux grands moments de l'histoire de la musique comme celui-ci.
