Il s’agit d’une statue en bronze représentant un rameur ou un avironiste. On le reconnaît à plusieurs détails caractéristiques :
	•	Il tient une rame (ou un aviron) sur son épaule droite.
	•	Il porte une tenue sportive moulante (probablement une combinaison d’aviron).
	•	Il tient un gouvernail à la main gauche, avec des cordes pendantes, ce qui suggère qu’il pourrait aussi être un barreur (cox).
	•	Sa posture fière et musclée évoque les représentations classiques de sportifs ou de travailleurs.

Ce type de sculpture était populaire à la fin du XIXe siècle ou au début du XXe siècle, souvent réalisé pour célébrer l’esprit sportif ou la force physique
