2 volumi. Fratres de Tournes, Ginevra 1769. 4° volume (4)+711 + (4)+496+158+88 pagine. Legatura coeva in vitello marmorizzato marrone molto usurate con dorsi a 5 nervi che presentano diverse mancanze ma legatura ben salda. Tagli spruzzati in rosso.  Frontespizio del primo volume con mancanza nell'angolo alto di destra e lungo il margine della prima pagina, mentre quello del secondo volume presenza una mancanza li circa un centimetro su tutto il margine esterno. Presenza di ex-libris sulla sguardia del secondo volume e alcune scritte di vecchia mano. Per il resto pagine bianche con normali bruniture.
Sydenham - l'Ippocrate inglese - fu un grande clinico e intrattenne uno stretto rapporto di collaborazione con gli scienziati e filosofi Robert Boyle e John Locke. Questa edizione include due dissertazioni di William Musgrave sull'artrite, originariamente pubblicate nel 1715, come supplementi.
