Biografie
Ottmar Hörl studierte an der Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main und bei Klaus Rinke an der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. Seit 1999 ist er Professor an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nürnberg. Der deutsche Konzeptkünstler arbeitet mit vielfältigen Ausdrucksformen und wurde international durch seine zeitlich begrenzten Großprojekte mit seriell gefertigten Plastiken im öffentlichen Raum bekannt. Kunst ist für Ottmar Hörl Organisationsprinzip und Anlass zur Kommunikation, soll Denkanstöße geben und in der Gesellschaft wirken.
