De melkbus is voorzien van het nummer “30”, wat mogelijk duidt op een oorspronkelijke functie of inhoud. Dankzij de stevige beugel is hij eenvoudig te verplaatsen, terwijl hij evengoed perfect dienstdoet als decorstuk, paraplubak, vaas of verzamelobject voor folkliefhebbers.
