Glen Keith is the first distillery built in the 20th century in Speyside. It was built in the ruins of an old mill on the banks of the Isla River, which is famous for its pristine water. Glen Keith almost disappeared from the map forever when it ceased operations between 1999 and 2013. The distillery has become representative not only because of its location, but also because of the popularity it enjoys among experts. Connoisseurs come here to participate in training. They learn how to give Scotch whisky their own character, using copper stills, which at Glen Keith are higher than in other distilleries and allow for the whisky to have a unique, distinctly fruity and smooth taste.

Glen Keith 28y is a limited edition whisky from the Glen Keith distillery from the Secret Speyside series. Secret Speyside is a collection of 15 single malts from lesser-known Speyside distilleries owned by Pernod Ricard – the closed Caperdonich, the revived Glen Keith, the pioneering Longmorn and the secluded Braes of Glenlivet.

The current Glen Keith bottlings are the first official releases of the new century.

Glen Keith 28y is a silky smooth whisky, quintessential Speyside style, full of juicy summer fruit notes. Matured for a minimum of 28 years in first-fill American oak barrels

Nose: delicate, orange, apricot

Taste: vanilla fudge, toffee, strawberry jam toast, marzipan, allspice

Finish: long, chocolate raisins, honey, vanilla
