Unique and captivating as Robert Capa's photographs, as inspiring as Cartier-Bresson's clichés, and gathering an ability to take photographs full of reminiscences of photorealism oriented sides and full of photojournalism and realism, Gilles Peress made of his Photography an Art by itself. Reminding some modern Artists works such as Petersen or Crewdson to some extent, this Clean very illustrative Box from Gilles Peress is undoubtedly a Masterpiece of Photography. Sadly as so, no one should ever forget, and Peress' lifelong Works, partly depicted therefore within this Slipcased Hardcover Book, reminds us those timeless lessons from History. This Book is a little Masterpiece collector Book for anyone interested in Art and Photography, but more especially in photojournalism and timeless historical Photography. Koudelka used to immortalize Prague's Spring in 1968, Capa's made clichés of Franco's opposant in Spain and War everlasting pictures, Peress does its own way, without seeking any rewards, in seek of sharing reality in its most realistic aspects. Very smart to mention. And this book is as Masterpiece, even though the aim if to spread what happened in New York nine eleven 2001.
