Modern danish vintage pendant with the classic multi shade system.

The lamp is designed by the danish lightning company J. Junge in the 1960s.

Junge is a part of the Danish modern design tradition which includes name like Jo Hammerborg (Fog og Mørup), Bent Karlby (Lyfa), Svend Middelboe (Nordisk Solar) and many more who all work with the multi shade system. A system first developed by the famous architect Poul Henningsen (Louis Poulsen) in the beginning of the 20th century.

The multi shade system spreads the light perfectly in the room without the lightbulb is visible. The system is still used by designers all over the world.

Signs of use. 

Please notice the cracks in the plastic near the socket. It doesn’t effect the function.
