What am I offering you today from my beer cellar.

Bottle 1. 
For this limited edition of the Oude Geuze Barrel Selection Madeira Edition, lambic of one and a half years was matured for 24 months in barrels that previously contained Madeira, a Portuguese fortified wine.
After adding some young lambic, the beer was bottled and then matured in the bottle for another 18 months. This makes for a complex Oude Geuze, with nutty notes (typical of Madeira) and a vinous aftertaste. This geuze is no longer available in stores 7.0 alc

 For the Oude Geuze Barrel Selection Port Wood Whisky Edition, one-year-old Lambic was matured in whisky barrels for thirty months. A small amount of young Lambic was then added for refermentation in the bottle. The result is an explosion of flavours: hints of vanilla and coconut, but also a pleasant sourness and a creamy, full-bodied aftertaste. An Oude Geuze for true bon vivants. 8,0 alc

Infused Lambic with pine buds, called Winter Lambiek, combines the refreshing character of lambic and the flavor of pine trees. This brings up the winter holiday spirit while drinking a beer that is not overly spiced nor sweet.

BERSALIS TRIPEL OAK AGED 2021 wild – sour is a unique beer from Oud Beersel because of the spontaneous secondary fermentation and maturation in wooden barrels. Bersalis Tripel undergoes maturation in the Lambiek cellars of Oud Beersel for 22 months in wooden barrels and foeders. Due to the lactic acid bacteria and wild yeasts present in the brewery environment and in the wooden barrels, the high fermentation beer spontaneously ferments a second time. The “Brett” character and the refreshing sourness give this tripel matured in wood a unique taste dimension.
