Toei Animation - Queen Millennia (1981/82)
Original animation cel of Yayoi Yukino, with painted background

Cel and background are cutted in a different size of a standar cel (no holes), but cel is in Very Good Condition as you can see.
An astonishingly rare find. Unique piece. Very scarce and rare.

Theses works belongs to the process of creating one the sequences of one episode of the famous cartoon serie. This artwork is unique it is not a simple lithograph or print, it is hand made.

All in good condition with the signs and normal wear of a drawing used in animation production.

Queen Millennia (Japanese: 新竹取物語 1000年女王, Hepburn: Shin Taketori Monogatari: Sennen Joō, lit. 'The New Tale of the Bamboo Cutter: Millennium Queen') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Leiji Matsumot which was serialized from 28 January 1980 through 11 May 1983 in both the Sankei Shimbun and Nishinippon Sports newspapers. The manga series was adapted into a 42-episode anime television series by Toei Dōga and broadcast on the Fuji TV network from 16 April 1981 through 25 March 1982. An anime film was released on 13 March 1982 shortly before the TV series ended.
