Philips HDK 400 WF Industrial High Bay Lamp – Made in U.K., ca. Late 20th Century

This robust industrial pendant lamp by Philips was manufactured in the United Kingdom and designed for high-performance lighting in warehouses, factories, or large commercial interiors. The fixture features a wide aluminum reflector (approx. 57 cm diameter) paired with a Philips HPI-T 400W bulb and a matching ballast housing unit mounted at the top.

Marked clearly with a Philips label (model: HDK 400 WF), the lamp is designed for 220V operation and rated IP22 for indoor use. Its hard-wearing construction and utilitarian form give it a raw, industrial aesthetic that appeals to designers and collectors of vintage factory lighting.
