Questa elegante lampada da tavolo è un raffinato esempio dello stile Art Nouveau, corrente artistica nata a cavallo tra il XIX e il XX secolo, celebre per la sua celebrazione della natura, delle forme organiche e della lavorazione artigianale. Il paralume, composto da vetri colorati saldati, richiama chiaramente la tecnica Tiffany, diffusa negli Stati Uniti e in Europa nei primi anni del Novecento. I motivi floreali e le linee sinuose del paralume si fondono armoniosamente con la base in metallo decorato, evocando elementi vegetali e curve fluenti, tipiche dello stile.

L’intero oggetto non è solo un elemento d’arredo, ma anche una testimonianza della rivoluzione estetica dell’Art Nouveau, che si proponeva di portare l’arte nella vita quotidiana, anche attraverso l’illuminazione. È probabile che la lampada sia stata realizzata in Europa tra il 1900 e il 1915, o successivamente come riedizione fedele.

This elegant table lamp is a refined example of the Art Nouveau style, an artistic movement born between the 19th and 20th centuries, famous for its celebration of nature, organic forms and craftsmanship. The lampshade, composed of soldered colored glass, clearly recalls the Tiffany technique, widespread in the United States and Europe in the early 1900s. The floral motifs and sinuous lines of the lampshade blend harmoniously with the decorated metal base, evoking vegetal elements and flowing curves, typical of the style.

The entire object is not only a piece of furniture, but also a testimony to the aesthetic revolution of Art Nouveau, which aimed to bring art into everyday life, also through lighting. It is likely that the lamp was made in Europe between 1900 and 1915, or later as a faithful re-edition.
