Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Sculptural dressing table by Philip Simoen from Belgium, dating to 1980–1990, made of metal and glass, measurements 140 cm wide, 65 cm deep and 172 cm high, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and a small stain, usable as a room divider with mirrors and side shelves on both sides.
Description from the seller
Display table as a sculpture!
Usable on both sides (mirrors and double-sided writing tablets).
Can serve perfectly as a space divider. The wheels add dynamics to the object and suggest the temporary nature of the room layout.
Designed by Philip Simoen from Jabbeke on the occasion of the opening of a Coiffure Dessange salon.
The fun part is that when you seat two identical chairs opposite each other, a trompe l'oeil is created: people think they see the chair across, but of course, it's the front chair reflected in the mirror...
Dimensions
Total B 140cm / D 65cm / H 172cm
Mirror B82cm x H80cm
Tablets 130 cm x 28 cm D
Small damage to one of the cut side mirrors, about the size of a fingernail.
The chairs are not part of the auction.
