A rare modular stereo system by Sanyo, made in Japan during the early 1980s. This iconic “Carrying Compo” set includes:

C4R Tuner/Amp Unit

C4D Cassette Deck Unit


Built with portability and performance in mind, this system features a powerful 4-band stereo tuner amplifier with graphic equalizer, and a high-quality cassette deck with Dolby NR, soft-touch controls, and LED VU meters.

Condition:

Tested for power: System powers on and LED display lights up.

Cassette deck responds to button input and activates VU meter.

Audio output untested due to lack of compatible speakers.

Cosmetic condition: Good vintage condition with signs of wear (scratches, scuffs, and some marks on the top panel) (see photos).

Tape door opens/locks properly.

Tuner dial and equalizer sliders move smoothly.
