Als gepassioneerd verzamelaar van de Batman Black & White-serie is dit voor mij persoonlijk één van de mooiste stukken uit de reeks. Deze uitvoering is gebaseerd op het klassieke ontwerp van Carmine Infantino, de legendarische tekenaar die Batman in de jaren ’60 zijn kenmerkende dynamiek gaf. Het beeld straalt pure nostalgie uit en ademt de sfeer van de Silver Age.

Dit betreft een vroege uitgave van DC Direct (niet genummerd, zoals vaker het geval bij de eerste releases), en komt in perfecte staat, compleet met de originele doos, die eveneens zeer netjes is bewaard.
