Dimensions:
+Size of the sheet : approximately 40,5 x 30,5 cm / 15,9 x 12 in.
+Size of the image : 33,5 x 22,3 cm / 13,1 x 8,7 in.

Condition: Good, with light handling creases, some light staining in the margins. Some light tears in the corners. Image very clean otherwise. Unframed.

Published by Masson & Piazza, Paris.


Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-99, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series. 

As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
