Description:
A rare and collectible single malt from the Speyside region, distilled at the Linkwood-Glenlivet distillery in 1987 and bottled in 2014 by independent bottler Cadenhead’s as part of their Small Batch series. This 26-year-old whisky was matured in refill sherry butts and bottled at cask strength (56.8% ABV), non-chill filtered and with no added coloring.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Creamy vanilla, fresh baked bread, egg custard, and dried banana chips.

Palate: Toffee popcorn with a touch of salt and pineapple chunks.

Finish: Crisp and dry, quite herbal with aniseed, gooseberries, and a little nuttiness.

Parker points: Not rated by Parker; Words of Whisky and BOW: 88/100
