 Beschreibung:

Charmantes Paar geschnitzter Wandengel (Putten) im Stil des süddeutschen oder italienischen Barock.

Die Figuren bestehen aus leichtem Holz, sind handgeschnitzt, sorgfältig von Hand bemalt und mit goldfarbener Fassung (Poliment- oder Blattgoldoptik) akzentuiert.

• Einer der Putti spielt Mandoline,
• Der andere hält die Hände zum Gebet oder ehemals zur Flöte geformt (eine Hand beschädigt).

Die plastische Gestaltung von Körper, Gesicht und Gewand, die schwebende Bewegung sowie die goldenen Flügel verleihen dem Set eine eindrucksvolle sakrale Ästhetik.

Aufhängung rückseitig mit Metallöse.
 Maße: je ca. 20 cm hoch Gesamtgewicht: ca.  g (beide zusammen)Herkunft: vermutlich Südtirol oder ItalienDatierung: Mitte 20. Jahrhundert

Dekorativer Zustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, u. a. Craquelé und eine abgebrochene Hand. Die Ausstrahlung der Figuren bleibt dennoch erhalten.
