Limited Edition Monogram Canvas Sofia Coppola Bag

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a limited edition Louis Vuitton Sofia Coppola monogram bag. This is a unique collectible item very hard to find in brand-new condition.

The bag was purchased  at the Louis Vuitton boutique in Florence Italy in May 2010.
This is a full set complete with all the original paperwork, boxes, bags, and tags.

Created by and named after American film director, actress, producer, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Sofia Coppola, the SC Bag has been the realisation of her ideal Louis Vuitton handbag. The SC Bag was inspired by the iconic shapes of the Speedy and Keepall which combines the utility of a travel duffle with the smaller scale of an everyday bag. Timeless and functional, the SC Bag encapsulates Sofia?s own glamorous style. Retail price is $2230. Due to the rare and limited nature of this bag, the asking price is listed above the original retail price.

The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.
The exterior canvas is clean and in good condition with light wear to the bottom corners. The leather trim has turned a lovely honey patina and shows signs of wear, especially to the bottom corners. The handles are darker at the top with surface scratches. There is a lose thread on the rear handle, but it does not affect the integrity of the bag. The interior has very light signs of wear but is otherwise clean and in good condition.
