De beroemde Thorens TD 166, klassieker met helder, stabiel geluid met zeer neutraal karakter. De muzikale karakteristieken zijn ongehoord goed.

Zoals te zien is op de foto's is dit een erg mooi bewaard gebleven exemplaar met lichte gebruikssporen. 
De stofkap is ook nog in erg mooie staat, deze heeft wel een heel klein plekje bovenop (zie de laatste foto). 

Het sub chassis, bestaande uit draaiplateau en toonarm,
is zwevend opgehangen met 3 veren, waardoor de speler minder last heeft van vibraties van de motor en van buitenaf. Dit is een van de factoren die zorgen voor het geweldige geluid waar Thorens zo bekend om is.

Voorzien van een mooi Philips GP 400 element met goede naald.

Geleverd met nieuwe aandrijfsnaar.
